Our Story

Ron Ketler spent years as a commercial fisherman at sea before beginning his career raising fresh water fish for the market. After over a dozen years in large scale aquaculture operations in central California, Ron’s experience led he, his wife Julie, son Jake and daughter Sarah to Kelley Hot Springs.

After years of work and innovation in fish technology, Ron came to hold numerous U.S. Patents for oxygen supersaturation techniques which provided the foundation to become one of the largest Tilapia produces in the Pacific Northwest. The Kelley Hot Springs Fishery was developed from scratch by the Ketler family over the past 20 years to produce Tilapia on a very large scale as well as other fresh water species.
